Our trusty workhorse, the Luminotester PD30, has been replaced by a smarter product: the Luminotester SMART! The Luminotester SMART is a powerful tool that measures the level of organic material or bacteria in water using bioluminescence, a natural light production that certain organisms, such as bacteria, produce. By applying a reagent to the water sample, the Luminotester SMART can detect and measure the level of bioluminescence generated in response to the presence of organic material or bacteria. This process delivers fast and reliable results that give an indication of water quality.
